Nothing to Report

I have taken off this week due to the exorbitant amount of homework I have for my Capstone project and other classes as the semester comes to an end. This is the first position I have ever had that was not retail, so I have never had the opportunity to take off to focus heavily on my finals. However, my boss was ok with me focusing on school for these next few weeks since, even though school ends soon, my internship will continue into the summer.

Important People

Last week at my internship was a little different. While the work I did was the same the atmosphere and general day went a little differently. There were lots of important people in and out of the office. Between stockholders and high up supervisors there was only a little bit of tension in the air. While I never saw anyone, those higher up on my team had to concern themselves with them. I had to dress up, just in case, but I never met anybody while during my week. It's very interesting to watch how people react differently when those with more power or more clout in the chain of command show up.
